A2D Constructors delivered the Merchants Field Retail Center, a 23,000-square-foot pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) developed in Missouri for flexible office and warehouse use. Designed with adaptability in mind, the facility features 12 tenant-ready units, each equipped with overhead doors and semi-truck docks—perfectly suited for a range of commercial operators, from light industrial users to modern retail showrooms.
The exterior combines modern storefront glass with classic brick accents, horizontal wall panels, and durable PEMB PBR paneling, creating a balance of style and strength. Site improvements include heavy-duty asphalt paving, functional concrete loading docks, asphalt overlay upgrades, and refined landscaping for both practicality and aesthetic appeal.
A major component of the project included the removal of an existing private sewer treatment plant and the construction of a new sewer extension, connecting the development and four nearby commercial buildings to the municipal sewer system in Nixa. This significant infrastructure upgrade enhances long-term reliability and integrates the entire site more efficiently within the community’s utility network.
