Case Study

A2D Constructors transformed this 1,600-square-foot residence through a remarkable lower-level renovation that redefined both function and luxury. What was once an MEP crawl space is now a sophisticated living area featuring a lounge, media room, wine room, bathroom, sauna, and storage. The project included significant structural work with seven tons of steel, precision earthwork, a concrete retaining wall, and a polished concrete slab for a refined, durable finish.

The design integrates premium details throughout, including 9’6” ceilings, a wet bar, and a modern glass fireplace. Natural light pours through 27 feet of 8-foot black storefront glass, creating an open, welcoming atmosphere. A new hickory staircase connects the space seamlessly to the main level, while a stamped concrete patio with a water feature extends the living area outdoors.

The project also added a 16’ x 32’ covered outdoor retreat, complete with timber framing, a stone fireplace, and a composite deck — all designed to merge comfort and craftsmanship. The master closet expansion completes this cohesive transformation, uniting elegance and everyday practicality in a space built to last.
